Autumn s whisper Sep 15th 2012, 02:48 Autumn s whisper Here in Wisconsn, the temps have dipped down to the 40 s....brrrrr. I love this time of year! I call it sweater season...chilly crisp air, painted leaves and pumpkins rippen. Mother nature seems to slow down and rest...as busy squirrels hibernate and bugs get snug as the cooling air approaches. This time of year...as Summer dies I stand on my porch and listen...it is so quiet now with the crikets sleeping...I listen still and hear rustling leaves dancing in a gentle late summer breeze. Neighbors in warm jackets walk by and wave as the aroma of potroast in the stove reminds me I better get back inside. Yet I stand and listen still....I hug myself as another wind rushes in...pushing thru the tiny holes in my sweater...a chill...I feel and smile again as in the quiet of the moment-- I hear Autumn s whisper. Sorry for the spelling errors (I can t spell) Just wanted o share with you a moment I had on the porch today...I love this time of Year!!!
